Usually wait to use them unless you have no other way to blink your commander. \n\nContinuous blink options generate value over shrines and ETBs. If possible mulligan for at least one of them in your hand. and dont keep expensive shrines.\n\nGood ETBs usually include removal, ramp, or blinking permanents instead of creatures to blink your shrines.\nWhen you want to increase the overall tempo add ability duplicators to get multiple shrines/ effects per trigger. Peter Parker camera might be arguably stronger than sol ring in this deck\n\nOf course classical removal is important. I also recommend to run 2 or 3 stifle effects since most counterspells dont act well against creatures and popular enchantment removal is often tied to creatures in this bracket. It also enebles you to blink opponents commanders and stifle the turnback from exile wich can be very powerful and your friends will hate you for it.\n\nFogs protect you from big boards for very little mana investments. \n\nSingle target goading is crazy against voltron and generally keeps the biggest threat away from you, wears down opponents health pool or gets rid of creatures blocking or forces removal. Also since the controller still has two targets to choose there are enemies to make and contracts to break. \n\nMass goading is a wierd chaotic mix of removal, combat damage and fog effect, since youre not affected by the chaos. And again politicing can be important\n\nInk shield in particular has the upside of giving you a huge swingback. less chaos than mass goading while having the advantage to be at instant speed and also protects against haste like fogs. leaving 5 mana open can be pretty obvious though. \n\nTutors that put a card on top of your library are very strong to get specific shrines basically for free. \n\nIm trying it with less draw since i wanna test if the shrines can provide the deck by themselves.\n\n"}]}
