As I see it, Lantern is just a lot better, and it's a great new card.\n\n11/27/21 - Add Quag Vampires, remove Engima Thief. Thief could be put back in, it's just a huge amount of mana. Just discovered Quag Vampires.\n\n12/15/21: Add Aetherspouts, remove Fact or Fiction. The deck doesn't need generic draw like FoF, and Aetherspouts is a massive blowout. It also synergizes well with mill and adds to the scant quantity of board and stack interaction (4-6 at time of change excluding Aetherspouts, depending on how you count Grim Hireling and Thieving Skydiver.\n\n1/31/22 - Add Pact of the Serpent, remove Into the Story. As I add more graveyard hate, cards like Into the Story become worse. Pact is a more efficient and more versatile (target the Krenko player with 30 goblins!) draw spell.\n\n2/2/22 - Add Night Dealings, remove Grim Hireling. Unfortunately, Hireling just got too expensive. I'm really excited to play the janky Night Dealings.\n\n2/6/22 - Add Network Disruptor, remove Marsh Flitter. Flitter's just sorta inefficient compared to Disruptor.\n\n2/6/22 - Add Necromatic Selection, remove Drown in the Loch. Drown nonbos hard with all my graveyard hate, and Selection adds to my wrath count.\n\n2/6/22 - Add Swamp, remove Dismal Backwater. Gain lands are just bad.\n\n2/6/22 - Add Island, remove Jwar Isle Refuge. See above.\n\n2/12/21 - Add Grim Hireling, remove Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire. Varragoth isn't the most useful because of its lousy stats and lack of evasion, and I just got Hireling from a precon.\n\n2/13/22 - Add Vedalken Infiltrator, remove Prickly Boggart. I think Boggart's evasion isn't consistent enough.\n\n2/14/22 - Add Prosperous Thief, Remove Invisible Stalker. Stalker is just a bad rate, and Thief is a mini-Grim Hireling, which is one of the best cards in my deck, plus it has ninjutsu.\n\n2/14/22 - Add Silver-Fur Master, remove Blighted Agent. Master is an awesome new lord that even has evasion on the turn it's played thanks to ninjutsu. In addition to being a bade rate, my friend helped me realize that Agent's infect prevents it from dealing regular combat damage for juicy Anowon or Coastal Piracy triggers. No thanks.\n\n2/14/22 - Add Coastal Piracy, remove Vedalken Infiltrator. Infiltrator isn't a great rate, and I just traded for Piracy.\n\n3/7/22 - Add Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar, remove Ashiok, Dream Render. Ashiok's just weak graveyard hate in casual games, because it can be killed so easily. Graz is a neat efficient draw engine and evasion payoff.\n\n5/29/22 - Add Cephalid Facetaker, remove Marang River Prowler. I've found that prowler's ability to cast from the yard isn't as useful as I thought, and a 1/4 unblockable clone that's a base rogue? Yes please! Gimme that second Grim Hireling! (keeping my eye on this one because this deck doesn't want clones in general.\n\n5/29/22 - Add Mari, the Killing Quill, remove Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar. Mari is just a more useful 3-drop evasion payoff, generating mana and graveyard hate as well as card advantage.\n\n5/30/22 - Add Kindred Discovery, remove Adaptive Automaton. Discovery is a far better tribal payoff I just acquired and I don't think I need a straight anthem.\n\n9/9/22 - MAJOR CHANGE\n\tI think I'd rather not be held to some of the changes above. If I'm paying 7 for a boardwipe, it might as well be one-sided.\n\n1/4/24 - Add Tegwyll's Scouring, remove Aetherspouts. Holding up 5 for a conditional spell isn't really what my deck wants to do, and Scouring leaving behind rogues is sweet.\n\n1/4/24 - Add Bloodchief Ascension, remove Soul-Guide Lantern.
