Desire feels so clunky and difficult to cast, while the field of one-mana card selecting cantrips is pretty slim. I'm glad to have one more, but I'm going to keep my eye on this and maybe undo this cut later.\n\n2/27/22 - Add Possibility Storm, remove Vadrik. Vadrik's just a weaker engine, and I recently discovered the interaction with storm (it will exile the spell, the cast TWO spells)\n\n6/6/22 - Add Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy, remove Cloak of Feathers. These evasion spells haven't been too useful in general, and Cloak specifically, being a sorcery, is just less useful. Gale offers a lot of value (although I might have to keep my eye on the growing Value Permanents category, because I'm not sure I need that many.)\n\n6/6/22 - Add Inspired Tinkering, remove Crash Through. See above for cut (and Crash Through is even worse than Cloak, because trample doesn't always work) Tinkering is a good value spell that's also good at filtering mana.\n\n7/31/22 - Add Displacer Kitten, remove Chart a Course. I've been underwhelmed with Chart, and Kitten can blink tapped mana rocks AND help avoid removal.\n\n7/31/22 - Add An Offer You Can't Refuse, remove Possibility Storm. Storm just turned out to be too janky and I need more protection.\n\n1/2/23 - Add Windfall, remove Reckless Impulse. Windfall is extremely impactful compared to Impulse.\n\n1/2/23 - Add Big Score, remove Seize the Spoils. Big Score is better at setting up storm and better at filtering ritual and Birgi mana.\n\n6/21/23 - Add Urabrask, remove Jace's Sanctum. Urabrask is just pretty much the most valuable effect in this deck. Jace's Sanctum has been teetering on the edge of playable, and Urabrask is a card that I am overjoyed to replace it with.\n\n8/19/23 - Add Training Center, remove Mountain. Just a dual land upgrade here.\n\n8/19/23 - Add Sulfur Falls, remove Island. See above.\n\n9/24/23 - Add Fierce Guardianship, remove Shimmer of Possibility. This is a super awesome counterspell, and I've been underwhelmed with Shimmer as a storm spell.\n\n10/8/23 - Add Bonus Round, remove Thousand-Year Storm. Just wanted to make the deck leaner. Storm is such overkill.\n\n12/16/23 - Add Stormcarved Coast, remove Island. Just a land upgrade here.\n\n1/4/24 - Add Turnabout, remove Sleight of Hand. Want to remove cantrips for rituals so that I have a more even balance.\n\n4/5/24 - Add Possibility Storm, remove Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy. Storm is kinda like gale but you don't have to pay for the spell (plus it's a funny stax piece)\n\n6/5/24 - Add Thundering Falls, remove Desolate Lighthouse. I never activate lighthouse and wanted more colored sources and filtering.\n\n6/23/24 - Add Ral, Monsoon mage, remove Prismari Command. My added counterspells make up for the lack of interaction, and ral is both a cost reducer and a way to cast a ton more spells.\n\n8/3/24 - Add Stormsplitter, remove Guttersnipe. Stormsplitter in my creature-based wincon slot gets much scarier much more quickly.\n\n10/27/24 - Add Case of the Ransacked Lab, remove Goblin Electromancer.
