{"ops":[{"insert":"Hit em where it hurts, and never give up!\n\nThis deck is built on a lot of resilient 2-card layered infinite death pairings in the Infinite Death Engine tag, but its main engine is "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Reveillark"}},{"insert":" + "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Karmic Guide"}},{"insert":" which allows us to loop a second 2 power, or lower creature to generate game winning value (unless your sac outlet is "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Altar of Dementia"}},{"insert":" , then you just win with 3 cards). Sac Saffi to her effect targeting Plaguecrafter. Sac Plaguecrafter (to it's own triggered ability) hold priority while Saffi's return trigger is on the stack, Sac Reveilark. Resolve Reveilark to return Karmic Guide and Saffi. Karmic Guide triggers, and resolves bringing back Reveilark. Saffi's trigger finally resolves returning Plaguecrafter. Plaguecrafter triggers, and we repeat until no one has any creatures, Planeswalkers, or cards in hand. If everyone doesn't scoop at this point they either have something that can get them back in the game (probably already on board in the form of an enchantment or artifact), they're stubborn, or don't realize they'll never get to have a hand ever again, and should scoop on the next draw step. If you're doing it with Plaguecrafter in the yard, you can sac Saffi, targeting Reveilark, sac Karmic Guide if on the field, then Reveilark, to get Saffi and Karmic Guide back. Saffi's ability brings Reveilark back, and Karmic Guide bring Plaguecrafter to initiate the loop. Really straight forward denial plan.\n\nWe have a "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Birthing Pod"}},{"insert":" line which gets us to our main Infinite Death core of 3-drop > "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Felidar Guardian"}},{"insert":" , flicker Pod, sac Guardian into "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Karmic Guide"}},{"insert":" return Guardian, flicker Pod again, sac Guardian into "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Reveillark"}},{"insert":".\n\nMain payoff creatures are, and listed here with there affect on the game state:\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Ravenous Chupacabra"}},{"insert":": No more non indestructible/hexproof/shroud/annoying ward cost creatures for anyone else.\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Accursed Marauder"}},{"insert":": Non token aggressive decks can no longer win, no mana dorks/utility creatures to worry about, Voltron cries.\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Fiend Hunter"}},{"insert":": With a sac outlet turns into a permanent exile of any one creature. And we get whatever piece that's keeping us from just winning in hand. That's right, Sad Robot is one of the best creatures to loop in the deck, hands down, simply because he lets us win. Remember, we're already looping. We just need a way to turn it into damage with our aristocrats (or change the sac outlet to mill our opponent's decks), and the game is a done deal. The only thing that can stop any of our loops once they start going are continuous effects like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Leyline of the Void"}},{"insert":", or an instant speed removal of graveyard pieces (since we can sac on board pieces that get targeted).\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Aftermath Analyst"}},{"insert":": I like him over other options that let us mill a few cards simply for the extra utility of getting our fetches back to think it deck some more before we can initiate a loop. But this one is above Sad Robot as each missing piece has a creature equivalent we can loop onto the board, and win with. No carrying required.\n\nThe few pieces of Land tutor are to find "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Strip Mine"}},{"insert":"/"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Wasteland"}},{"insert":" or "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Bojuka Bog"}},{"insert":" to deal with problems as they arise before we get our engine going.\n\nThe deck is also quite resilient verses Stax decks as surprisingly it was a hard Stax deck once upon a time that now messes in the realm of denial. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Torpor Orb"}},{"insert":" like effects also don't stop it as Saffi + Reveilark is a combo that triggers on dying, not entering, and all of our aristocrats also trigger on dying. So it's only a speed bump, and not complete denial. Again, the only disruption this deck can face is graveyard interaction, which is the reason for all the removal and protection cards (We hold Teferi's Protection specifically for cards like Farewell where there isn't another profitable option) as we can work around most problematic cards that would give the average deck a problem.\n\nThis used to be my 'cEDH' deck headed by Karador a long time ago, but has since fallen by the wayside (it wasn't the best back then either, but won me enough games), so it is (and basically always has been) a very (uncharacteristically of me) high power bracket 4 deck. That being said...\n\n"},{"insert":{"card-link":"Karador, Ghost Chieftain"}},{"insert":" vs "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Nethroi, Apex of Death"}},{"insert":". Why did I choose the cat? Simple, I no longer use it competitively (so basically I never use it unless requested since it is competitive), so I went for flavor over function. The deck works better with Karador as a Command Zone reanimation piece than Nethroi no matter what excuse I make. Almost any Abzan commander is better. I just happen to like looking at the alt art of my Nethroi.\n"}]}
