I imagine that’s a common feeling among my fellow players (victims) at the table, so I drafted up this Tuvasa the Sunlit “everyone has only lands!” deck.\n\nThe game plan is to find ways to turn every single permanent that every player controls into a land of some variety. That’s a lot simpler to do with my own cards, thanks to creatures like Yedora, Grave Gardener and enchantments like Life and Limb – itself, quite the fun recurring force of Forest fun!\n\nCreatures to lands, simple enough – but for Life and Limb, not all my creatures are Saprolings? Mirror Entity, Maskwood Nexus, and other spot effects in the deck help to smooth that over, no problem! Now they’re Saproling Lands – Saprolands? Spread the love to your fellow players with spells Standardize and Unnatural Selection. \n\nHow about enchantments? It’s a little roundabout but Opalescence or Starfield of Nyx make those bad boys into creatures which can be made into Saprolings! Rise and Shine and March of the Machines, and even niche pieces like Toymaker, help cover artifacts for the board, making men out of metal and men into mountains – er, Forests. \n\nAnd what about the rarer permanent types to worry about? Planeswalkers? God forbid – Battles?! That’s where some of our handy one-offs come into play – the Liquimetal cycle help us create an increasingly convoluted process of getting artifact-creature-lands. Somewhere Baba Lysaga is salivating.\n\nAdd in a smattering of landfall payoffs to help the deck maneuver – with fun pieces like Excavation and Horn of Greed to share the love for everyone! \n\nIf you can’t find yourself a Life and Limb or similar creature to land card, this deck is ready to help you mitigate that potential issue! A suite of self-animating creature lands (including the rarely seen Genju cycle to make your own!) alongside a handful of Mirrorweave effects ensures that we can turn every single creature on the board into a copy of a land creature – thereby satisfying our goal of creating a gorgeous, natural scene of only lands on the board! Casting and making copies of Infinite Reflection on a creature-turned-land with Yenna, Redtooth Regent is a much slower but inevitable way to help everyone enjoy the bounties of nature.\n\nWith every single permanent on the board a gorgeous land, you can savour the moment and give everyone all the mana they could ever want by ending the turn and keeping every creature a gorgeous copy of a land with Sundial of the Infinite. The sun will never set on your new empire of land, as far as the eye can see.\n\nIf you’re looking to finish the game – but why would you? The vistas are gorgeous… But games have to end! A good way to do so with countless creature lands on the board is with a handy boardwipe combined with the all-time great name card Dingus Egg (and Dingus Staff!).
